Jean-François Vézina continue son travail d'auteur sur le thème de la synchronicité, inspiré de Jung, expérimenté de ses pratiques artistiques, journalistiques et professionnelles en tant que psychologue à Québec. Explorateur de l’inconscient (dixit lui-même), voyageur ouvert et ouvreur, il s'est enfin mis à nous parler via les "toujours-les-mêmes" media sociaux (dixit FB et Twitter).

Bien sur, comme pour toute les sciences sociales et en particulier les sciences cognitives, il y a à boire et à manger dans le rhizome des réseaux et flux de commentaires de fans. Si j'ai dévoré 2 des livres de Vézina, ce n’est pas celui sur les relations amoureuses, non, non, mais surtout celui sur la réalisation de soi à travers les images où il fait référence au monde du cinéma, puisque c'est le monde que je connais particulièrement et avec lequel je peux faire une petite étude comparée. Pour avoir mangé du cinoche à toutes les sauces, pro et perso, c'est bien « Magnolia » de Paul Thomas Anderson qui reste à mon top 10 et qui parle bien de synchronicité, sujet d’excellence de Vézina. Mais allez voir Jung d’abord si vous êtes, comme moi, preneur de racines avant de goûter aux fleurs et odeurs. J’aime assez l'ouverture vers l’intelligence émotionnelle (voir le livre de Daniel Goleman « L’intelligence émotionnelle », sorti en Poche) et vers la physique quantique. Mais là pas de référence car je n’ai pas cherché, et « physique quantique » me fait penser à « shaman », et çà c’est une autre histoire de blog (sic!). Je donne quand je sais, je sais quand j’ai vécu, je pratique l’empirisme. Comme dirait Rod : "Be your own shaman".

Do good to yourself. Twice. First for your wallet, then for your stomach.

Eat better does not mean that you need to sit down and pay more (see Paris prices…). You can require a sandwich at the bar, the counter, the ‘zinc’ (in the typical Parisian slang, from the name of the material used for the top of the counter). I usually first ask  if they have bread, because sometimes they are out of fresh bread, but most of the time they make the sandwich in front of you with fresh baguette and good quality products. Sometimes basic Parisian cafe places will have great products from the countryside. Don’t expect an elaborated sandwich but just a good ham or sausage, a good cheese, they always have a list of the kind of sandwiches they sell fand they are  cheaper than anywhere else, even more if you eat the counter, and you also take it out.

By the way, try the small glass of Côte du Rhône at the same time, usually cheap and good, they serve it cold or by the room temperature, and they may have a good house wine for your sandwich and your mind. Enjoy, be free, smart, and save money. And, at the counter, make friends.

Et comme nous évoluons dans un monde paradoxal, on nous invite à varier les tâches…. La solution ? Cumulons des tâches différentes de 45 minutes chaque avec des pauses et des petits exercices de respiration !

Conclusion : prenez rendez-vous avec vous-même.

My English writing is entitled a special way in the universities’ catalogues:  ‘English as a second language’. This means that I, we, have a first language? Well, some may have many languages and you may not guess which one is the first, the second or the next. I thought that the first language of the human being was love ? Mistake. The first language of the 21^st century is a global mix of everything on the web. Not quite pure, but we try our best.

Writing to Twitt-Land

A quick post for feeding my blog. It is like a plant, I feed it and get fresh air in return. I was busy with trying to figure out how French can become really democrates. Still trying. Spending minutes per day on Twitter for feed too, feeding in, feeding out, feed-back. 

Hotels are places where you can elaborate many tips.

For the expensive price of a cup of coffee I can stay longer and have a much better service. I can use the advantage of very, very comfortable ladies’ room. I don’t know about the men’s room yet.

Don’t forget, in cafes (and brasseries) in Paris you cannot stay too long, the waiter will come with his negative face - yes, he does have a negative face most of the time - if you stay too long he will ask you to pay and … set the table free for next round (= leave).

This will not happen in a hotel lobby. So look for luxurious hotel lobbies and enjoy the toilets for free !

(i.e. Hotel Concorde Saint Lazare near the train station, 'chutt', don't tell !)
